I am a firm believer in taking credit where credit is due. In this case, I can say with 50% certainty, it wasn’t me.
It was March 2005. I had been seeing this girl from Seattle for 4 months. Here birthday was coming up. Turns out it was on the same day as my mom’s.
And then it came to me, why not save time by purchasing the gifts from the same store and getting them to deliver? If all goes well I should have time to stop by the Jolly Roger Taproom before heading home.
